Electional astrology is the selection of auspicious times to begin an activity--imprinting the celestial configuration of the horoscope on an outcome similar to the manner in which the characteristics of a person are influenced by the time of birth. It is the forgotten loophole in the concept of predestination; by hoisting the sail at the right moment, the winds of fate will set a ship on the most favorable course. Each type of activity has its own set of astrological rules for improving an outcome. This class will teach the principles of electing events--how to elect a horoscope, identify and strengthen significators--and demonstrate several types of elections, such as starting a business, taking a journey, creating an astrological talisman, and writing an important email.
